SYGNETHEALTH

About

Health shouldn't be
a second thought.

We're building the kind of healthcare we wish existed.

The problem

Telehealth is broken

The 60-second async consult that nobody actually reviews. The customer service team trained to upsell before they solve. The medication that arrives in a box with no protocol, no coaching, and no plan for what happens next. The lab work that gets ordered once and never re-checked.

And underneath all of it, the illusion of “personalization” built entirely from dropdown menus and conditional logic. A quiz is not a relationship. A shipping notification is not follow-up care.

The result is a model that looks efficient on a dashboard but feels hollow to the person receiving it. Patients become fulfillment orders. Providers become rubber stamps. The experience degrades until the only thing holding customers in place is the inconvenience of switching.

We've all experienced versions of this. We built Sygnet because we believe healthcare can be done with more care than this, even at scale.

“A rich person has a thousand problems, until they get sick. Then they only have one.”

Principles

What we believe

01

We don’t believe in upselling.

The more products a telehealth company sells you, the more likely they’re selling you things you don’t need. We’ll only recommend the smallest set of interventions that solve the actual problem.

02

Depth over breadth.

Some companies are proud of having a million patients. We think that’s a warning sign. A doctor can’t meaningfully manage a million patients. We’re optimizing for depth of relationship.

03

The medication is the easy part.

Pharmaceutical access is largely a solved problem. The hard part is everything around it: the coaching, the accountability, the protocols, the questions you have at 9pm on a Tuesday.

04

Slow is sometimes faster.

We won’t rush people through intake to hit a conversion target. Real outcomes require real conversations, even if that means fewer customers.

We chose to partner with an established clinician network for clinical care rather than build a medical team in-house. Their network of licensed providers across many states gives us clinical depth and geographic reach that would take years to build independently. Every prescription decision is made by a licensed physician through that partnership, not by us.

We chose to partner with an established compounding pharmacy rather than attempt pharmacy operations ourselves. Compounding is heavily regulated, technically demanding, and best done by people who have spent decades perfecting it. Our pharmacy partner handles the formulation and fulfillment; we don't touch the medication.

This lets us focus entirely on the experience around the medication: the intake, the coaching, the reminders, the follow-up, the “is this normal?” conversations. That layer is where most telehealth fails, and it's where we spend all of our time.

Nicolas Loo

I started Sygnet Health because I lived the problem.

For years I was what people call skinny fat. I looked fine in clothes but my body composition was a mess, and I had no idea because I never looked under the hood. Then I gained real weight, the kind you can see in photos, the kind that makes you ask friends not to post the group shot. That was the wake-up call.

What got me out of it was not willpower. It was information. Once I understood what was actually happening inside my body, what my levels looked like, what I was putting into it and why, the work stopped feeling like a fight. Being dialed in became easy because I finally knew what I was working with.

Most people never get that. They get told to eat less and move more, they buy a subscription to something, and a year later nothing has changed because nothing about the underlying picture has changed. The healthcare industry profits from that confusion.

Sygnet is the company I wish had existed when I was starting out. I am not a doctor, which is why every clinical decision here is made by licensed physicians through our clinician network, and every prescription is filled by licensed pharmacists at our compounding pharmacy. My job is to build the company that puts that medicine and that medical expertise inside an experience that actually helps people understand their own bodies, instead of just selling them another monthly box.
